Project Dorcas
At the Church
This is a twelve-week course which includes lessons in Bible Study, English Language, Life Orientation and Computer Training. Students to be trained are selected from a local informal settlement.
Outreach at Nompumelelo
An outreach to the underprivileged from the same local informal settlement whereby women and/or men are taught basic skills such as sewing, knitting, crocheting, in order to be self-supporting.
Food Parcels
Aids Patients
Aids Food Parcel Distribution – Once a month, after a time of devotion, 25 Aids patients from the local informal settlement are provided with a parcel of food, second-hand clothing and a cup of tea with sandwiches.
Underprivileged
Each Monday morning a cup of soup with bread is provided to the underprivileged who come to the Church office.
Care Cupboard
Food parcels are distributed both to those within the Church itself who may be going through a difficult period financially, as well as to any folk who might come to the Church office and are in need of food.
